This
summer, why not have some fun with your instrument and make
lots of new friends? Come up to Camp Timbers and advance your
musical ability while having fun. Increase your repertoire by playing
new marches, classics, and pop music, chosen especially for your
ability and experience. Spend an exciting week doing fun electives,
playing games and working to perfect a final concert performance. Don't
miss Band Camp this summer! Register early, only 202 spaces available.

Cost:
The
cost of this seven day camp is only $415.00,
which includes lodging, all meals, activities, snacks, electives, music
and instruction. The only activity that has an extra cost is horseback
riding. Students must bring their own instruments or school
provided instruments. Percussionists should bring percussion mallets
and sticks. All campers should bring a prepared music piece to play
during chair placements.
Curriculum:
The curriculum will include:

group sectionals on your major instrument. |

Two daily
concert band rehearsals. |
| 3. |
Instrumental
clinics by famours clinicians from around the country. |
| 4. |
Special
musical concerts and performances by local and nationally known artists. |
| 5. |
Electives,
swimming, canoeing and cabin activities. |
| 6. |
Friday night
dance, karaoke, and pizza party. |

Closing Band
Concert at Kirtland Community College. |
